Our Mixing it up conference happens every two years.
BEYOND BEAUTY takes place Feb 1, 2025, 9 - 4:30 at the Mary Winspear Theatre, Sidney, BC. Speakers: Dr. Doug Tallamy, The Homegrown National Park; Heidi Hitchcock, Mix It Up: Designing with Native Plants; Maria Valana, Mind What You Sow; Dr. Brian Starzomski, Citizen Science in the Garden; Dr. Tom Smiley, Trees in the Urban Environment. - Speakers Bureau: Master Gardeners are available to come and talk to groups about gardening. Check out our list here.
- Community Projects: Programs for elementary and high school students, for seniors, volunteering in the RBC Museum Herbarium and with the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific, and working with other community groups.
